Deadly TriRail Accident In Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) - A deadly accident Tuesday morning involving a TriRail train in Hollywood.

Just after 7:30 a.m. a north train struck a pedestrian near Johnson Street on its approach to the Sheridan Street station.

TriRail said there were approximately 173 people on board the train at the time of the incident.

The person struck by the train was pronounced dead at the scene.
