MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Miami-Dade authorities and the TSA were forced to temporarily shut down a terminal inside the Miami International Airport over a suspicious item.
The airport's Concourse E checkpoint and surrounding area on the second floor closed briefly Sunday night, including the curbside, officials said.
The incident delayed two flights.
Passengers were able to access Concourse E through the Concourse D #3 TSA checkpoint.
About an hour later, things were back to normal.
