MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- President Donald Trump is working to get all Republicans behind a GOP plan to repeal and replace Obamacare -  stepping in as dealmaker-in-chief.

President Trump sat down with House Republicans who are working to push new health care legislation through Congress.

"We're working together. We have some great results. We have tremendous spirit and I think it's something that's just going to happen very shortly," said President Trump.

But some moderate Republicans are concerned millions of Americans will lose health insurance and have to pay more under the GOP plan and conservatives say the bill doesn't do enough to trim back the federal government's role.

"When you have pushback on one side and the other side from a political spectrum, you might have found the sweet spot," said House Majority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).

President Trump can't afford many Republican defections, so the White House is hosting lawmakers and other influencers to insure the deal gets done including some invitations for bowling, pizza, and beer.

"If he is in a deal-making mode, does that mean bowling at the White House in return for support for legislation. I find the charm offensive," said House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

But on health care, it's not Democrats the Trump administration is trying to woo.

On Friday, Vice President Mike Pence met with conservative leaders who oppose abortion. The White House said it is committed to stripping all federal funds from Planned Parenthood.

Vice President Pence will head to Kentucky Saturday to bolster support for the GOP health care plan.

Meantime, President Trump will be working at the White House.

On Monday, Democratic attorneys general from 5 states plan to join Hawaii with legal challenges to his revised travel ban.
