SUNRISE (CBSMiami) – Hollywood police have plenty to sort out after undercover officers were forced to chase two subjects believed to be involved in narcotics.

The chase ended in Sunrise at the intersection of 19th Street and Sunset Strip.

Sunrise residents who live nearby are thankful school was not in session – otherwise this intersection would have been full of kids heading home.

"There were four vehicles in total that were hit when the suspect came up… blew through the stop sign here," said Hollywood police spokesperson Miranda Grossman.

The chase began on Sheridan Street in Hollywood.

The two guys in a white Honda sped north bound 16 miles, including a long stint on I-95.

"At some point during that this afternoon, the suspects struck one of the police vehicles," Grossman said.

As bad as it all looked, no officers were hurt.

Two males were taken into custody and then taken to the hospital with slight injuries.

"At least one charge of aggravated battery. That was when they struck the police vehicles," Grossman said. "There could be more charges yeah."

One other victim was taken to the hospital as well.
