Lily Collins Shares Stunned Globes Nomination Reaction

MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) -- Actress Lily Collins shared the moment she learned she had been nominated for her first major Hollywood acting award - a Golden Globe.

After the nominations for the  74th annual Golden Globe Awards were announced Monday, the "Rules Don't Apply" actress posted a photo on Instagram of her with one hand over her mouth in stunned surprise by the Golden Globes that she was nominated for best actress in a film musical or comedy.

She wrote that her mother snapped the photo and she was in disbelief. The actress wrote she is "Beyond honored, thankful, and proud. This can't be real!"

The image received more than 1,000 comments and has been liked more than 95,000 times an hour after it was posted.

Hailee Steinfeld, another first-time Globe nominee, also shared her elation online. Steinfeld wrote on Twitter that she was in tears — and aboard a plane that's about to take off. Steinfeld was also nominated as best actress in a musical or comedy film for "Edge of Seventeen." Steinfeld was also nominated as best actress in a musical or comedy film for "Edge of Seventeen."
