MIAMI (CBSMiami) - It was a terrifying morning for a woman in Miami after she was carjacked at gunpoint and then dragged down the street.

The woman's boyfriend, who did not wish to be identified in this report, said she woke him up around 3 a.m. and asked for the keys to his car which was parked in front their apartment at 130 NW 57th Street.

She told him there was something she left in the car she didn't want to get stolen.

"Around 10 minutes later my girlfriend ran inside and told me that she had just got robbed and they stole my car," he said. "There were two of them, she was taken by surprise when they came knocking on the window."

He said his girlfriend got hurt when she couldn't get out of the car in time.

"He basically pushed the gas while one of her legs was inside the car and she fell."

As her two assailants fled, they fired at least two shots.

Police are now looking for his 2007 red Toyota Camry with Florida license plate GNU D26.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS.
