Boy On Bike Struck In Hit & Run, Police Looking For Driver

MIRAMAR (CBSMiami) -- Miramar Police are looking for the driver of a minivan who struck a child on a bicycle and kept on going.

The crash was caught on video and the van appears to be a green and silver Chevrolet Astro or similar type of vehicle.

The accident happened Sunday morning in front of 7570 Tropicana Street. The suspect immediately fled the area going eastbound on Tropicana St., then northbound on Desoto Dr. and was last seen heading eastbound on Pembroke Rd.

The van should have damage to the right-front hood and fender area.

The child was hurt but his injuries are not life-threatening.
