'Candy Crush' TV Show Holds Casting Call Promising Sweet Adventure

(CBSMiami) -- A nationwide casting call has opened for the new CBS live action game show series called Candy Crush.

Fans of the highly addictive Candy Crush games – a free-to-play mobile puzzle game – can now put their skills to the test on enormous interactive game boards featuring next generation technology.

Taking inspiration from all three games in the franchise, Candy Crush Saga, Candy Crush Soda Saga and Candy Crush Jelly Saga, contestants face off in teams of two on an interactive stage competing in the Candy Crush Arena for prizes and sweet, sweet glory.

"One of the most important things about making a hit show is the cast," said the show's Executive Producer, Matt Kunitz ("Wipeout," "Fear Factor"). "We are looking for fun, outgoing, Candy Crush players who want to compete on the biggest, swipeable, interactive game board ever created."
