Fisher Dishes On Steamy Affair With Ford During "Star Wars"

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Turns out those rumors all those years ago about Han and Princess Leia weren't rumors after all.

In her new book "The Princess Diarist" Carrie Fisher credits an on-set romance for her on-screen chemistry with Harrison Ford in the 1977 blockbuster 'Star Wars'. At the time Fisher was 19 and Ford was 33 and married.

Fisher's book is billed as an intimate, hilarious and revealing recollection of what happened behind the scenes on one of the most famous film sets of all time. "I looked over at Harrison," she writes, "And thought he looked like a movie star."

Fisher said their "intense affair," which lasted about three months, ended when they wrapped shooting for the film.
