Woman Shot, Killed Behind Miami Gas Station

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - An investigation is underway after a woman was shot to death behind an Allapatah gas station.
Witnesses told police the woman was seen arguing with someone inside the Sunoco at NW 36th Street and 9th Court before she stormed out. Moments later the clerk inside the store heard two gunshots and called the police.
Arriving officer's found the body of the woman behind the gas station.
"It appears the female was found shot near the face area," said police spokeswoman Yelitza Cedando.
Crime scene technicians collected evidence including fingerprints from the front door and security video from the store.
Police have not released the woman's name or given a motive for the shooting.
