MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) - A 26-year-old former Uber driver has been banned from the ride sharing service after he reportedly sexually battered a drunk passenger.

Nimer Abdallah was arrested earlier this week and charged of sexual battery of a victim who was physically incapacitated.

Abdallah reportedly picked up the female victim and another person to drive them home early Saturday. Investigators say at some point, Abdallah sexually battered the victim while she was intoxicated.

The victim said she awoke the following morning and found her pants and undergarments had been removed. She called the police and picked Abdallah's face out of a photo line up.

During questioning by the police, Abdallah said the woman had been drinking and what he did was wrong, according to his arrest report.
