On new Panthers forward Jonathan Marchessault- “He’s going to show [the Lightning] what they missed”

On Dale Tallon’s personnel moves- “Reilly Smith might have been the steal of the decade”

On the Panthers roster- “I don’t think there is another team with better young talent.”

On the Panthers young talent- “They haven’t done squat. You have to win a playoff round first.”

On goalie James Reimer- “He still has to prove himself as a quality, high caliber goalie.”
