Deerfield Beach Pier Damaged By Matthew

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - Strong waves formed by Hurricane Matthew have damaged a portion of Deerfield Beach's famed International Fishing Pier.
City officials said the damage was to the railings on the one thousand foot pier, not the support pilings.
Once the extent damage is assessed, the city will determine if it is safe to open the pier to the public.
