MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The ink is barely dry on the Miami Marlins 2016 season but several members of the coaching staff are already being let go.

According to Jon Heyman of Today's Knuckleball, the Fish are releasing hitting coach Barry Bonds after just one season with the team.

Besides Bonds, Miami Herald reporter Clark Spencer reports third base coach Lenny Harris and bullpen coach Reid Cornelius are also being let go.

Craig Mish of SiriusXM claims Marlins manager Don Mattingly called out Bonds during a team trip.

While players like  Christian Yelich, Marcell Ozuna and J.T. Realmuto excelled under Bonds, Mish reported superstar slugger Giancarlo Stanton fell out with Bonds.

Under Bonds, the Marlins had a .263 average (2nd in National League), .322 on base percentage (8th in NL) and .394 slugging percentage (12th in NL).
