Investigators say Baez would dress in ninja-like clothing and target waterfront luxury homes in North Miami  between May and September 2016.

He broke into the homes while the owners were away and took off with cash, jewelry and designer goods totaling $200,000.

Surveillance video released by North Miami Police shows the burglar was very selective of what he stole.

In the video, you can see him dressed from head to toe as he tries to conceal his identity.

Investigators said he would even remove safes, rolling them out to the street.

Video even shows the burglar scoping out boats behind the properties, looking to see what he could steal.

The burglaries had put the neighborhood on edge.

"We're very worried about the neighborhood," said a resident.

Police say they got their guy - Baez - who has got a history of breaking into homes. Officers said they worked with other agencies in other South Florida communities to zero in on him.

In 2009, Baez was arrested for strong armed robbery. In 2012, he was charged with burglary. In 2013, he faced charges for driving with a suspended license and resisting arrest.

As for the current charges he's facing, he's already bonded out.
