Miami Dolphins right tackle Ja’Wuan James joined the Big O Show on 560 WQAM to discuss the Dolphins home opener on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, the team’s need to get off to better starts and the impdolphinortance of having a loud home crowd.
On getting games off to a good start: “It’s all a process and we’re just trying to find our rhythm early in the game. And then when we do, we’re playing from behind, so we just have to get our offense going earlier and we should be fine. I’m confident in our guys, and I feel like we’ll be alright.”
On playing at home in front of Dolphins fans: “That was the biggest difference for me coming from college, was the atmosphere of the stadium and the people at the game. We’re definitely excited about the first home game. You hear stuff around the league of the 12th man, and how much it affects the away team. We want that place rocking when we take the field so that we can experience that awesome home team stadium.”
