Richt On Canes Win: "We Had A Very Serious Edge About Us"
University of Miami head football coach Mark Richt joined the Joe Rose Show on 560 WQAM to discuss the Hurricanes' 45-10 victory against Appalachian State, that preparation for the game was not taken lightly and his evaluation of Brad Kaaya's breakout performance.
"Well I saw no signs of anybody playing around or taking anything lightly, we had a very serious edge about us, as we entered the stadium and played the game, our goal was to play more physical than they would play."
"He (Brad Kaaya) played very well, it always does start with the offensive line, we protected a lot better, we gave cleaner pockets for him to be in. The line really did a much better job of protecting."
