Miami Beach School Temporarily Locked Down

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Miami Beach Senior High was placed on a precautionary lockdown Thursday morning.
School officials contacted Miami-Dade Schools Police after it received a call that said a student wanted to cause harm to himself and others.
The school was put on lockdown and searched by School police and Miami Beach police. Nothing suspicious was found.
Just before 8:45 a.m. the lockdown was lifted.
Police suspect it was a prank call.
