Investigators Search For Connection In Deaths On North Miami Beach

NORTH MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) -- Investigators are asking for the public's help in trying to determine what happened to a 19-year-old man dead in North Miami Beach and if it's connected to another death not far away.
Christopher Francois was found in Columbia Park along the 1300 block of N.E. 177th Street on Friday night, August 26th.
North Miami Beach Police said they received a call from about a suspicious man on the sidewalk and when they arrived, found him dead.
Detectives aren't yet sure if the homicide is related to a body found dead in a car about 10 blocks away, close to 176th Street near N.E. 8th Place.
"We don't know what we have, so we're asking anyone who lives in this community to please give us a call," said North Miami Beach Det. Cora Mann.
Police are not yet saying how they died.
Both the North Miami Beach Police and Miami-Dade Police departments are investigating.
Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS. There's up to a $3,000 reward for info that helps lead to an arrest and as always, tipsters can remain anonymous.
