The Miami Marlins have been one of the surprise teams in Major League Baseball this season.

Plenty of attention for the Marlins' success goes to slugger Giancarlo Stanton and ace Jose Fernandez, but along with superstar highlights there are plenty of little things that the team does right in order to remain towards the top of the National League standings.

We have gone back to check out some of Stanton's massive home runs this season but little attention has been paid to the defensive prowess that the Marlins have shown throughout the year.

Miami is ranked sixth in baseball in fielding percentage at .987.

They have made the fifth fewest errors of any team in the league, just 56 through 114 games.
