MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Ready, set, shop. The state's annual "Back to School" sales tax holiday is underway.
But before you head out to the store, there are some changes you should know about.
First, this year the holiday only runs three days, Friday through Sunday, versus 10 days which it was last year.
This year shoppers won't have to pay state or local sales taxes on clothes worth $60 or less and on school supplies worth $15 or less.
That's a sizable drop from last year when shoppers could buy clothing worth $100 or less without paying taxes.
Another major change for this year is that legislators eliminated computers from the tax break.
