Pole Impales Minivan Windshield, Narrowly Misses Child

CORAL SPRINGS (CBSMiami) - A close call in Coral Springs after a pole came crashing through a minivan's windshield and came inches from hitting a young girl sitting in a child safety chair in the second row.
It happened Monday when a woman lost control and crashed through a fence.
The pole went through the windshield, passenger seat headrest and stopped before hitting the woman's four year old daughter.
The girl was taken to an area hospital where she was checked out for a bruise on her head.
On their Facebook page, the Coral Springs Fire Department called it "The close call of the year!"
