BSO: Body Found In Oakland Park Motel Ruled Homicide

BROWARD (CBSMiami) – Broward Sheriff's Office detectives worked well into the night at a Days Inn motel just west of I-95 in Oakland Park.

A 911 call brought fire rescue and police to the five story motel complex Monday afternoon.

They rushed to a fifth floor room located near the elevator. Inside they find the body of a female.

Detectives questioned numerous potential witnesses that were in and around the motel where the body was discovered at about 3:30 p.m.

Investigators declared the death a homicide.

BSO detectives were reviewing security camera video looking for suspects.
