MIAMI (CBSMiami) – City of Miami Police are asking for the public's help in locating a toddler missing since November.

Authorities are releasing very little information about the case because they say they don't have much information.

Police say Wednesday night, the Department of Children and Families was made aware the girl was missing.  DCF began an investigation and contacted police.

The two-year-old girl is being identified as Angela Marjorie Dufrene.

Angela was born on April 25th, 2014.  She was last seen in November of 2015 within the city of Miami jurisdiction.

Police do not have a photograph of Angela to release to the public because they say the mother says she does not have a picture of her.

Police are asking for information and photographs of the child to help them with their investigation.

"Getting photos of Angela is imperative because it is going to be a key component in trying to continue searching for this child. We have very little to go on," said City of Miami Police Department Officer Kenia Fallat.  "We do know in the past she attended a daycare.  We don't have the name of the daycare so if anyone that does recall the name and can provide us with information, all those calls are imperative for us to start receiving.  It is extremely crucial to the investigation because we need to find this child."

Detectives are speaking with Angela's mother and she is not considered a person of interest at this time.  They're also speaking with other relatives, as well as family friends.

If you have any information that could help police locate Angela Marjorie Dufrene give Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers a call at 305-471-TIPS.
