FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - An emotional hearing in a Ft. Lauderdale courtroom when two women accused of helping suspected killer Dayonte Resiles in his escape from the Broward County courthouse went before a judge.

"I'm asking for mercy from you, for my baby," Paige Jackson's mother told the judge. "She's a good person, a good kid. We never had an issue with Paige, always respectable, all my children are."

Jackson, 18, is accused of setting up three-way calls for Resiles so he could speak to the others who are accused of planning and carrying out the escape.

Jackson, who is five months pregnant, broke down while telling the judge about the plans she has for her life.

When the prosecutor asked for a high bond in the area of $150 thousand to $200 thousand, Jackson's mother nearly passed out. Eventually bond was set at $50 thousand and house arrest.

Another of Resiles' suspected accomplices also appeared before a judge on Thursday.

"You're charged with accessory after the fact, a second degree felony. You're also charged with violating your probation or community control," said the judge as he read off the list of charges.

Francine Mesadieu, 31, looked surprised hearing the charges against her. A cousin of Resiles, she's accused of giving him a wig, colored contacts and clothing.

Mesadieu, who cried with her head in her hands during most of the hearing, was denied bond.

In total, seven people have been charged as accessories to Resiles escape last week.

He was captured Wednesday night at a motel in West Palm Beach and returned to Broward's main jail early Thursday morning.
