Focus On South Florida: SMART Ride

It's a disturbing fact of life here in South Florida -- we have some of the highest rates of new HIV cases in the nation.

Since 2003, "The SMART Ride" has raised millions of dollars for organizations in our area that specialize in the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS. The SMART Ride is a 2-day 165-mile bike ride from Miami to Key West. One of the beneficiaries is the Children's Diagnostic & Treatment Center in Broward.

The CDTC helps families affected by HIV & AIDS.

We focus on the ride, how you can get involved and the role of the CDTC in our community.
