Teen Killed Crossing Road In Pembroke Pines

PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami) — A 16-year old was struck and killed trying to cross a usually busy street in Pembroke Pines Monday night.
The teen, whose name has not been released, was trying to cross Pines Boulevard near the Pembroke Lakes Mall when he stepped in front of an oncoming Honda. He died on the scene.
The driver of the Honda, 42-year old Alexander Focante, stopped and waited for police.
No charges have been filed at this time.
