Sen. Marco Rubio Will Not Be Attending GOP Convention

TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami) – Marco Rubio's office confirmed to CBS4 the Florida senator will not be attending the GOP convention.
His office says this isn't about presumptive nominee Donald Trump.
The former presidential candidate decided recently to run for reelection to the senate despite having said repeatedly that he wouldn't.
He says since he jumped into the race late he needs the time to campaign in Florida.
