Miami Police: Uber Driver Arrested For Selling Cocaine

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – An Uber driver has been arrested after Miami police conducted an anti-gun violence operation in Coconut Grove.

Miami police said they received a tip that a narcotics deal was going down Tuesday at the Quick Stop on Grand Ave. in Coconut Grove.

Several units converged on the location where they arrested Ilitch Muñoz who they said was selling cocaine.

Detectives said upon further review, Muñoz – who is an Uber driver – was in possession of a handgun.

Muñoz was taken to Miami-Dade County Jail.
