Deadly Opa-Locka Shooting Under Investigation

OPA LOCKA (CBSMiami) -- Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting in Opa-Locka Monday.

Investigators said the shooting happened off of NW 22nd Avenue which was closed during the investigation.

Crime scene markers could be seen off NW 135th Street.

Apparently at about 2 a.m. a man in his 20s was sitting at a bus stop. That's when someone reportedly walked up to the man and shot at him several times.

Rescue crews rushed the man to Ryder Trauma Center where he later died.

Detectives were out near the area all morning trying to find more clues in the case.

Authorities are trying to find out what the motive was for the shooting.

It is unclear if they have anyone in custody.
