DAVIE (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins took the field for the third and final time during this week's minicamp on Thursday.

The big news on Wednesday was the appearance of Reshad Jones for the first time since the end of last season.

More news came a day later as the Dolphins announced the signing of the teams third round draft pick, running back Kenyan Drake.

The rookie played on two national championship teams at the University of Alabama under former Dolphins head coach Nick Saban.

Miami and Drake agreed on a four-year deal.

A right leg injury kept Drake off the practice field on Thursday but he is expected to be ready for training camp next month.

"Drake, obviously, we saw him limp off (yesterday). He is going to have to get healthy as fast as possible," said Dolphins head coach Adam Gase. "He'll be ready to go for camp."
