BATTLE CREEK, MI (CBSMiami) - Kellogg is the latest company to recall some of its snacks because they may contain traces of peanuts.

Kellogg initiated the recall after its supplier recalled wheat flour that has the potential to contain low levels of peanut residue.

While consumers with severe peanut allergies should avoid the recalled products, the FDA has stated that the amount of peanut exposure from the flour is low and not expected to cause adverse health effects in the vast majority of peanut allergic consumers.

Anyone who purchased a recalled product is urged to through it out and contact the company for a full refund. They can be reached at 1-800-962-1413, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
