Abandoned Miami Home Goes Up In Flames

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Firefighters battled heavy flames at a Miami home believed to be abandoned.

It happened Saturday near the N.E. 55th Street intersection.

Miami Fire-Rescue responded to large flames and smoke shooting more than 50 feet in the air from the single-family home.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control and keep it from spreading.

No one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
