Spring not only brings perfect weather but tons of spring festivals in the South Florida area. This festival is considered one of the country's largest multicultural music, arts and culinary festivals' and is celebrating it's 10th anniversary this weekend. The festival will start at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 29. It will feature all Caribbean music from Raggae to Soca. Ticket prices range from $49 to $399 but kids under 12 are free with a paying adult. A perfect fit to South Florida is going to a film festival focused on the world's aquatic ecosystem. The festival takes place on Saturday, May 28 and runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Each film focuses on issues our world's oceans are facing today complete with scientists sharing their findings and opinions. This fun festival runs from May 12 through May 15 and is hosted at a variety of venues throughout Key Largo. The Spring Fling Beer Festival will run from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 14. It includes a huge list of craft beers, music from DJ's and bands, games and more. The Spring Steelband Fest will be hosted from 5 p.m to 11 p.m. on Sunday, May 22. This unique festival provides an opportunity to experience the exotic sounds of Pantastik Steelband, Resurrection Steel and the Lauderhill Steel Ensemble.
