MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson wants to wake you up.

The former University of Miami student,  heavyweight champion and now actor has another job title to add to the list - app creator.

His new app called The Rock Clock, released this week, is meant to, as he says, "disrupt your morning alarm system."

"Our goal was create a free, direct, uncomplicated, cool, motivating app to help us all get after our goals and chase greatness..and always have fun along the way.," said Johnson in a Facebook post about the app he says even has him singing and playing a guitar in one of the tones.

He says the best part is, there is no snooze button.

Using the app, he'll be able to track your goals and you can see his. Johnson said he will be shouting out to those who share their goals with him using the app that is free and available on iTunes.

Johnson along with Zac Efron were spotted back in February, filming their upcoming movie "Baywatch" in Deerfield Beach.
