There is no denying that Miami Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton is one of the best hitters in all of baseball.

In past years he has been known for getting off to a slow start when a new season begins, but that doesn't seem to be the case in 2016.

It's not even the end of April and Stanton already has six home runs and 17 RBIs.

As we'll do periodically throughout the season, let's take a look at Stanton's first home runs of the new year.

4/5 Opening Day Blastoff 409ft

Stanton begins the season on the right foot by hitting his first homer of the season off Tigers ace Justin Verlander.

4/11 Welcome Back To Citi Field 417ft

The Marlins won their first road game of the season thanks to a seven run 2nd inning that Stanton capped off with a deep shot to left center.

4/18 Taking Advantage Of New Marlins Park Dimensions 414ft

For the first time since the fences were moved in, Stanton takes advantage and sends one over the closer wall in center field.

4/24 Stanton Goes Deep Off Matt Cain To Help Marlins Avoid Sweep 404ft

Stanton teed off on the first pitch from Cain to give the Marlins a lead that they wouldn't relinquish.

4/25 Nobody Loves Hitting At Dodger Stadium More Than Giancarlo 402ft

The Los Angeles native always puts on a show when he comes to Dodger Stadium and this trip would be no different.

4/26 Not Even Clayton Kershaw Can Keep Stanton From Going Deep 433ft

Stanton and the Marlins derailed a strong start by Kershaw but putting up five runs in the 6th inning capped off by Big G's mammoth three run homer.
