North Miami Beach Police Need Help Locating Missing Teen

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The North Miami Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing teen.

Authorities said 14-year-old Melissa Siple was last seen on Friday at around 4:00 p.m. at 17051 NE 21st Ave.

Melissa is 4'9" and weighs around 105 to 110 pounds. She has long, wavy black to dark brown hair and brown eyes.

She was wearing a black and white jersey with the words, "INITIAL USA," on the front. She also had on long black basketball shorts, a sleeveless black hoodie and black and red Air Jordan athletic shoes.

Police said she left a note behind threatening suicide.
