MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A tip led Miami police to a father and son who were allegedly posing as dentists.

Angel Nolasco, 81, and his son Andres, 40, reportedly operated the Coral Dental Laboratory at 2540 NW 7th Street.

One of their patients told CBS4 she went there and had two root canals and three extractions. She later ended up in the hospital with an infection from the procedures.

"I cannot eat, I lose 45 pounds because I cannot eat what I used to eat, so I told them I need my money back and he say he not going to give me anything," said the woman who did not want to be identified.

Both men were charged with practicing dentistry without a license.

Police say the elder Nolasco was arrested five years ago for the same crime. They suspect there are more victims out there and urge them to come forward.
