MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Not so friendly fire after a man shot at his neighbor reportedly over feeding stray cats - and the whole thing was caught on cell phone video.

Ariol Garcia said he was standing in the door way of his apartment at 2810 SW 7th Street arguing with his neighbor, 70-year old Jose Estrada, who was standing the door way of his apartment when things got out of hand. Garcia said Estrada fired four shots across the hallway at him. Thankfully he was not hit, his walls and television weren't so lucky.

Garcia said that Estrada was angry because Garcia and his wife had been feeding stray cats.

"I feel horrible, I almost lost my life and my wife's life. This guy next to us took shots at us over some cats that are outside," said Garcia. "We were scared because he took shots at us. He wanted to kill me, he was waiting for us to go inside the apartment."

This is not the first time Garcia and Estrada have tangled.

"We've called the police on him twice before. We have recorded him throwing away the cat food and the cat food costs money," said Garcia. "We want justice. If someone was trying to kill you, you would want justice. I came here to live a better life."

Estrada was charged with attempted murder. A judge set bond at $10,000 and ordered him to stay away from Garcia.
