MIAMI (CBSMiami) – At Tuesday's NFL Annual Meetings in Boca Raton, Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross didn't pull any punches when talking about past members of the organization.

Ross first discussed former head coach Joe Philbin – particularly about the way he managed quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

Ross all but said he thought Philbin stunted Tannehill's growth.

"Has coaching been a factor with Ryan's development, you think?" a reporter asked him.

"I mean I think so. I mean he's had one coach in his four years in the league," Ross replied.

Ross was also asked about Miko Grimes, the vocal and critical wife of now former Dolphin Brent Grimes.

He said Miko Grimes' profane criticism of the team played a role in the cornerback's departure.

Ross added that the construction for Sun Life Stadium is on pace to finish in time for the opener.
