FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - Two people were injured when an SUV plowed into an Oakland Park pizza shop.

It happened at the Downtown Pizza Grill at 906 NE 62nd Street.

The shop was open, and there were customers inside, when a woman slammed into the glass entrance.  Police have identified the woman as 70-year old Dia Nolan.

Witnesses said they heard the Honda CRV's engine rev and it didn't seem as if Nolan applied the brakes as she barreled into the store front.

"I was standing next to my car waiting for a delivery and I heard an engine go flat out full speed ahead and I watched the car go through the window, never tried to stop and didn't hit the brakes," said Paul Aaronson, a delivery driver for the restaurant.

Nolan, dressed in a nightgown and wearing curlers, was okay. Two people who were inside the shop were hurt.

"My fiance and I were just ordering some food and all I saw was this blue car, or whatever, just make a sharp, sharp turn and I heard the engine rev up and just plowed right through the glass," said Pietro Leone. "I pushed my fiance out of the way and I took the full force of the car. It pinned me up against the counter."

"You feel like you're in slow motion at that point. The only thing is see is me going to the floor, the car coming past me and him being slammed against the wall," said Leone's fiance Felicia Nesbitt.

Both Leone and Nesbitt were taken to the hospital where they were treated and released. Leone said his fiance needed stitches. He said there was a third customer in the shop who was hurt, she was knocked unconscious, but recovered and left the restaurant before paramedics got there.

No word yet on if Nolan will be facing any charges.
