Police Arrest Alleged Coral Gables Groper

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Coral Gables Police are searching for more victims of a man accused of groping women in the area.

On Wednesday, Rodolfo Col-Torres was arrested on charges of simple battery, aggravated battery and assault.

Police said six women reported they were either walking or jogging when the man believed to be Col-Torres approached them on a bicycle and groped them in the crotch/ buttock area then peddled off.

In two of those cases, he allegedly followed two women on foot and began throwing rocks at them - hitting one of them.

All the victims gave a similar description - a Hispanic male, 5'8"-6', thin build, short hair, mid-twenties, wearing long sleeve clothing and pants.

Col-Torres' arrest comes after police had been conducting surveillance in the area where the incidents had occurred.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the incidents which occurred between February 6 and March 6th. They are asking anyone who believes they were a victim to come forward.
