Body Found In Backyard Of Miami Gardens Home

MIAMI (CBSMiami) — A body was discovered behind a home in Miami Gardens and neighbors believe it may have been there for several days.
On Saturday night, residents in the area of NW 159th Street and 41st Avenue heard what sounded like gunfire. The police were called, but officers found nothing out of the ordinary.
The owner of the home found the body in the backyard Tuesday and called police. The homeowners said they've been out of town since last week and just recently returned.
As the medical examiner removed the body from the property, police officers fanned out in the surrounding area looking for clues.
Police have not released the name of the person who died or speculated as to how they they ended up in the backyard.
