Students Offer "Ideas Worth Sharing" At TEDx Youth Event In Miami

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- TEDx is bringing their entertaining and educational talks to South Florida students.

In the spirit of allowing the youth to share their message with the world, TEDxYOUTH@Miami is holding an event Friday at the Adrienne Arsht Center from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

TEDx is an independently organized branch of the popular TED Talks program. It marks the fifth year that The Cushman School has supported the TEDx event, giving students age 6 to 25 the ability to spread their imagination and ideas that evoke passion, inspiration, curiosity and creativity.

This year's theme -- "ideas worth sharing" -- will see speakers from both private and public schools and promises to connect our community through intimate, deep discussion about how we can impact the world.
