TAMPA (CBSMiami/AP) — This summer guests who want to brave Busch Gardens Tampa's newest coaster "Cobra's Curse" will have to get past some live slithering serpents first.

According to the plans for Cobra's Curse, the air conditioned queue line for the ride go through a 400-cubic-foot multi-level snake exhibit that will include Jameson's mambas, Angolan pythons and gaboon vipers.

Busch Gardens officials say "Cobra's Curse," which is a spinning coaster, is the only one of its kind in the world. It will feature a 70-foot vertical lift and more than 2,100 feet of track.

After ascending on a vertical lift, just like an elevator, riders will come face-to-face with an 80-foot snake icon and then zoom over the park's Serengeti Plain.

The maximum speed will be 40 mph.
