BRADENTON (CBSMiami) -- The tables quickly turned for a suspected drug store robber near Tampa after running into the wrong customer, who was more than ready to fill the crook's prescription for pain.
Surveillance video from inside a Walgreen's in Bradenton shows the masked man hop onto the pharmacy counter.
Little did he realize that the customer standing next to him was two-time state champion boxer David West, who was visiting his girlfriend at work.
On the video, West confronts the crook and before even throwing a punch, he pulls the guy's sweater over his head to disable him. Punches quickly start flying and the crook eventually loses his sweater and makes a desperate attempt to run.
The fight ended off camera with West holding the crook down until police could arrive. And just like a boxing match, when two men enter, only one man leaves the ring -- this time, one left in handcuffs.
