MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Videotaping the confrontation, Miami Beach's mayor was packing a lot of anger when he saw a delivery truck driver double-parked.

"Hey, so let me ask you a question. What's the reason why you have your FedEx truck parked in the middle of our most busy road?" Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine is heard saying on the video.

Levine was headed to work when he pulled over after spotting a FedEx truck he says was holding up traffic.

"This is our most important road, when we see somebody double parking a big truck, blocking traffic and making a problem that we already have worse, it's wrong," Levine told CBS4.

Levine said he posted the on YouTube hoping to send a message.

It's an example of how social media affects governing today.

"It's so important because what happens is we get to report a problem immediately. And then, of course, I think what we did, I sent out kind of an alarm bell to all the delivery trucks – all the 18 wheelers, UPS, FedEx. Stop blocking our roads . We love you. But don't block our roads. Don't make a problem we have worse," he explained.

CBS4 News reached out to FedEx and they provided this statement:

"Safety is our highest priority, and anyone providing service on behalf of FedEx Ground is expected to comply with the law. The behavior of the individual in this video is not consistent with the professionalism FedEx demonstrates in safely and securely delivering millions of packages to customers every day. We take these matters very seriously and will address it with those involved."
