MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Police detectives are looking for two men who ambushed a couple of delivery men during an armed home invasion Thursday.

It was about noon when the two delivery men dropped off new merchandise from BrandsMart at a home on NW 21st Ave. and 42nd St. in Miami-Dade.

That's when the two robbers busted into the home.

They ordered the delivery men and the family of four on the ground at gunpoint.

"It was quick. Like within 10 minutes everything happened," described downstairs neighbor Miguelina Acevedo. "I believe they were following the delivery guys from BrandsMart cause they just came, got the keys and took off."

The armed robbers took all the victims' money and cellphones. Then they shot at them, the bullet missing and ricocheting off the newly delivered washer.

Acevedo was with her kids when she saw the robbers run upstairs, a red bandana covering one's face.

They ran back down quickly, stealing the truck full of other BrandsMart deliveries.

"It's brazen enough that at 12 noon… how do you account for that?" asked Miami-Dade Police Detective Marjorie Eloi. "You have two subjects in a truck with a business logo filled with merchandise."

BrandsMart USA told CBS4 Reporter Donna Rapado the company has never had this happen on any of its deliveries before this incident. The company was thankful no one was hurt.

The company contracts Ryder trucks for its deliveries. Ryder was also thankful no one was hurt. Ryder said the company was working with officials to investigate the armed robbery to locate the stolen truck.

"It's scary," Acevedo explained. "I mean, you know, now we're here and I don't even know, I mean, I don't want anybody to come back."

Police are looking for the two armed robbers and the loaded Ryder truck they stole with Florida tag "EABL 97."

They urge anyone with information to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS.
