The Broward Library Foundation was incorporated in 1982.

Its mission is to enhance the programs and services of the Broward County Library beyond the means of public funding.

One of the ways it does so is through an event called "Literary Feast", which brings best-selling authors here from around the world.

In the 27 years since it began, "Literary Feast" has raised more than 3 million dollars.

We focus on how Literary Feast is battling illiteracy and the surprising ways it enhances our community.

Guest:   Nila Do Simon, Co-Chair, 2016 Literary Feast

Meg Cabot, Best-Selling Author (Princess Diaries et al)
