MIAMI (CBSMiami) - With Wednesday rollover, the Powerball jackpot has broken records.
Officials with the multi-state lottery said Thursday the jackpot for this Saturday's drawing has been increash to $700-million, the largest jackput ever.
Even with no one won the jackpot in Wednesday night's drawing, Floridaplayers won big, with more than 591,000 winning tickets totaling more than $6.5 million in prizes. This included two $1 million winners in Fort Lauderdale and Dunedin.
During this jackpot series, more than 1.7 million Florida players have won more than $17 million in prizes.
